Where do I begin?

So many of us want to lose weight. Am I right? Yes, and for so many of us this is a goal we have had for a long time. We might want to tone up, lose weight, or even get into the best shape of our lives, yet for so many of us this remains a challenge in our lives for years on end. We want to do it, but yet we do not put it into action, or when we do, we fail because we don't want it bad enough. For me personally, it is a challenge due to my work schedule, the kids, classes I am taking, and so many other aspects of adulting. I am getting older now, and while I can say I never really struggled with my weight, I have finally come to terms with the fact that age is playing a role on my weight. Also, I have a job which keeps me on my butt a majority of the day. Something has to give though! I think it comes down to what my most important goals are, and am I willing to do what it takes to accomplish them?

What do I do to make the changes I need to make to get to where I would like to be relative to my weight loss goals? I have long thought about starting a weight-loss blog to chronicle my journey, but I have never done anything like that before, and I felt like I was venturing into scary territory. Plus I really don’t know enough about blogging. I also thought about using social media, but there are so many others doing it. How would I stand out from the countless others who are also on weight-loss journeys or have had major weight-loss transformations? I guess I just have to take my chances, right? I mean, sitting around thinking about it won’t change a damn thing. So I am going to do just that. Feedback is welcomed, and I look forward to sharing with you this journey I have been wanting to take for so long. I will share the ups, the downs, and all other challenges and benefits of my journey. Here goes nothing!
